Below are some of the most common questions that people ask us about in-home health care services. Please call us if you have any other questions or if you need more information on any of our services. We are happy to help you find the information you need to make an informed decision.

General Questions
What services does Yes To HomeCare offer?

Yes To HomeCare offers a variety of services designed to meet our clients’ specific needs. Whether you need personal care services, short-term home health care, long-term private duty nursing, pediatric care, or Medicare-certified visits, we can provide high-quality, compassionate care for you or your family member. For more information see our services page.

How can Yes To HomeCare help me or my family member?

Receiving high-quality, focused home health care services can often mean the difference between spending time in a long-term care facility or hospital, and maintaining your independence and getting the care you need in the comfort of your own home. We love helping people, and we can help you by providing this specialized care at home.
Caring for an elderly parent, a disabled child, or another family member with a medical condition, can be overwhelming, and as a caregiver, you may be faced with making difficult decisions. When we come into your home, you can have peace of mind knowing that our trained health care professionals will treat your loved ones as if they were their own family members. We know how hard it is to trust someone else with caring for a much-loved family member, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Our caregivers are compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy, and they will treat you and your family with the highest level of respect and integrity as they provide excellent care.

How do Yes To HomeCare’s home health care services work?

At Yes To HomeCare, we have a team of dedicated professionals who will work together to help you get the care that you need. Your Yes To HomeCare registered nurse (RN) clinical manager or primary care clinician will meet with you first to assess your needs. We will then work with your physician, your family caregivers, and you to create a customized care plan that will address your specific concerns and care needs. Then, we will match you up with the appropriate qualified health care professionals, according to their background, skills, and experience. Your RN clinical manager or primary clinician will provide oversight and ongoing reassessments through home visits to ensure that you continue to receive excellent care.

What training and qualifications do your in-home care staff have?

All of our home health care professionals are trained with the highest standards in mind so they can have all of the tools and information necessary to take care of you or your loved one.

How do you select a caregiver for me or my family member?

We believe in matching our clients up with caregivers who share common interests. During our initial assessment, we will make sure to ask questions about your likes, dislikes, and your life in general, so that we will have the information we need to match you up with the appropriate caregiver. You will be spending a lot of time with your caregiver, so we want to make sure that your caregiver is someone with whom you can have a genuine connection.
In addition, if you or your family member has complex medical needs, we will make sure to select caregivers who are specifically trained in working with clients with those needs.

What if my family member or I need around-the-clock care?

Our team of compassionate, reliable, trained health care professionals can provide you with the around-the-clock care that you need.

Does anyone monitor the care that I’m receiving?

Yes, your RN clinical manager or primary clinician will provide oversight and ongoing reassessments through home visits to ensure that you or your family member continues to receive excellent care.
In addition, you or your family caregiver can monitor your care through our client portal, where you can see details about your care, view your records, and communicate with your home health care professionals.

What are my payment options?

Depending on your specific situation and eligibility, there are several ways that you may be able to pay for your home health care services. These include private pay, long-term care insurance, Veterans’ benefits, Medicaid, Medicare, and Workers’ compensation.

Why should I choose Yes To Homecare instead of another home care agency?

At Yes To HomeCare, helping people is at the heart of everything we do. We work to enhance the health and well-being of our clients and their family members. We believe in taking a holistic approach that focuses on our clients and their families, rather than just attending to our clients’ medical needs and ignoring family dynamics. When one family member is ill, it can often create stress and raise questions from other family members, especially if those other family members are the ones who are providing care and support. Sometimes there are solutions available through community resources that can greatly improve the quality of life of the family as a whole. By taking these elements into consideration and addressing these questions, we are able to promote the well-being of the entire family.
